Itinerary

At 8:00am the transfer begins from your hotel in Manaus to the Ceasa Port, where a speedboat takes visitors to the famous Meeting of the Waters, the natural phenomenon where the Negro River and Solimões River flow side by side without mixing. After a short stop for pictures and explanations, the journey continues across the Solimões River to Careiro Village.

From Careiro Village, the group continues by car or van for approximately one hour through the beautiful Amazon countryside to Lago do Maçarico region in the municipality of Careiro Castanho, Amazonas. From there, another speedboat takes visitors deep into the rainforest to the Amazon Adventure Lodge, arriving around 11:30am.

After check-in, a traditional regional lunch is served at the lodge followed by some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Amazon jungle.

At 2:30pm the afternoon activities begin. The group departs by motorized canoe to explore the surrounding flooded forest and jungle channels. During the excursion guests have the opportunity to enjoy bird watching, pink and gray dolphin observation, and the incredible Amazon sunset over Lago do Maçarico at approximately 6:30pm.

After dinner, a night caiman spotting excursion is organized. During this activity, the guide uses a flashlight to locate caimans along the riverbanks and provides interesting information about their behavior, habitat, and importance to the Amazon ecosystem.

Day Two:

At 5:30am guests leave by canoe for an early morning sunrise tour. This is one of the best moments to experience the Amazon rainforest coming alive with the sounds of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife waking up for a new day.

At 7:00am breakfast is served at the lodge.

At 8:00am a guided jungle trek begins and continues until approximately 11:30am. During the walk, the local guide shares valuable knowledge about the Amazon rainforest, including medicinal plants, survival techniques, giant trees, insects, and jungle wildlife. There is also a good chance of spotting monkeys and exotic birds during the hike.

After lunch at the lodge, the return journey to Manaus begins at approximately 1:30pm. The group travels back by speedboat, car/van, and boat through the same route, arriving in Manaus around 4:30pm.
